The Sunday Service is the time the whole church family comes together to worship God. We believe that God calls us to live in community with one another and our Sunday gathering is an important part of that. Our worship begins at 10.30 a.m. and generally finishes between 11.45 a.m. and 12 noon. Every month, usually on the third Sunday, we celebrate Communion together.
Children and young people are an important part of our church family and we hope that Sunday mornings are an enjoyable and meaningful time for them. Our normal pattern is for children and young people to join us for the first part of the service before going off to their own activities.
At special Christian Festivals we hold an all age family service and five or six times a year, members of our Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade join us and we hold a parade service which again gives us an opportunity to worship as a whole family.
Overall we aim for a mix of worship styles and seek to teach the Bible in an applied and relevant manner. The sermon topics are usually part of a series - either themed or working through a particular book of the Bible.
